Crime Pays

Crime pays big dollars

A police officer will get around $50,000 to $120.000 per year with full pension and benefits

A lawyer will get anywhere from $100 and up an hour

A jail guard will get $40-70,000/ year

A judge would get $250,000 per year.

And add up all the paper pushers, the secretaries and maintenance  involved and you get a very large sum.

Crime pays very well indeed.

Criminals are created by the stroke of a pen. And to control all those criminals you need police. Take for instance alcohol prohibition back in the 20’s. One day there was a booze industry with 100,000 employees, every one from farmers, distillers, truckers, bar waitress, and barrel makers. The next day all these people were labelled  as criminals. This requires the hiring of thousands of police officers, and created mobsters like Al Capone.

One day you are legal, then some politician prohibit something, and the next day you are a criminal.

And the day after you might be legal again.

Now just yesterday Dec 2013 the courts overturned the laws on prostitution. Now with the stroke of a pen, prostitutes will no longer go to jail or be harassed  by police. Yes , with the stroke of a pen crime has been reduced by a few per/cent.

The people who benefit most from all our nut-case laws are the employees of the law enforcement industry.

A crime occurs when someone causes harm to another. In many cases the law makes criminals out of people who have caused no harm. But.. that is where the money is made.
