I see religion more as a program for daily living. People can make up their own religions according to their needs. Brush your teeth, clean the bath, help sick people, read books, and so on. An understanding of God is not always necessary. If your religion brings you peace and joy and does not hurt anyone else, then go for it.
I find many organized religions are HEAVY on the theory, but, LIGHT on the practice. If God is part of the religion, God can be whatever you choose it to be. It could be just nature itself, easy to see and get in touch with.
A few non Supernatural defentions of Religion.
1. a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith
2. INFORMAL an activity which someone is extremely enthusiastic about and does regularly:
3.any object of conscientious regard and pursuit
4. to resolve to mend one\’s errant ways: The company got religion and stopped making dangerous products.
To be religious, one is not obligated to believe in the supernatural.
